On Saturday, February 26, 2005 we hosted a House Concert for Alan O'Day.

ALAN O'DAY had a huge #1 hit in 1977 with "Undercover Angel," a song he wrote and performed. (We still have the original 45!) Alan also wrote "Angie Baby," which was a big #1 hit for Helen Reddy, and co-wrote the classic "Rock & Roll Heaven" for The Righteous Brothers. Both songs got almost constant airplay back in 1974 and all remain staples of classic rock radio today.

Alan's songs have also been recorded by Ann Murray, Three Dog Night, Johnny Mathis, 5th Dimension, Paul Anka, Sarah Vaughn, Dusty Springfield, Cher, Tony Orlando & Dawn and many others. He's also written more than 100 songs for the Emmy Award winning Saturday morning program Jim Henson's Muppet Babies as well as co-written and recorded songs for National Geographic's Children's videos. Fun and entertaining, he loves to perform live.

For our House Concert, Alan O'Day performed before a very appreciative standing room only crowd. He not only performed all of his hits and a few select covers, but he also performed some new songs that went over very well with our audience. Alan's love for performing was clearly evident to everyone! Please be sure to visit Alan's website at: www.alanoday.com for updates about Alan's music.
