On January 8, 2000, singer-songwriter Cindy Kalmenson started off our 2000 House Concert Series with quite an impressive evening of great music while also setting a new attendance record for Russ & Julie's House Concerts. For the first time ever, we managed to squeeze 80 people into our living room!! So maybe it was a little crowded... but the show was certainly worth it as Cindy's wonderful songs and inspiring performance kept everyone singing and laughing and in great spirits!

Cindy is a fresh voice out of Nashville weaving deep sentiments with honesty and humor. Inspired by artists like Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt, Lucinda Williams, Neil Young, Joan Baez and Emmylou Harris, Cindy has developed a unique and heart felt sound very much her own.
