Seesaw is a group based around the songs of Michael Monagan. Michael sings and plays guitar. Linda Sharp, a vocalist and performer in her own right, shares lead vocals on a number of songs and harmonies on all the rest. The rhythm section is Hank Fischer on drums and David Wells on bass. Judy Rudin plays harmonica and Joe Turano plays keyboards and sings.

Michael Monagan's songs are a combination of many influences, reggae, folk, blues, jazz and rock with an emphasis on the song. His songs have been covered by the full spectrum of artists from folk to punk to pop to Irish. For years he has written songs with the special ed. students he works with (Special Music from Special Kids - Rounder Records 8014) and those students (The Kids of Widney High) had an original song "Christmas is the Time (To Show Your Love)" on KROQ's Christmas album. That album was the number one selling CD in Southern California the week before Christmas 1999.

Judy Rudin's harmonica playing has been featured on albums such as the platinum selling 4 Non Blondes. Hank Fischer and David Wells are the rhythm section for west-side band called Cinema. Joe Turano is a songwriter and singer whose voice can be heard on many records and movies including "The Little Mermaid". He writes music for movies as well and, at the time of our show, had most recently toured with Michael Bolton.
